@zarabow Yeah - it really *was* unique back then. I diod most of it on a? pentium 75 - ending up on a 233 - maybe 64 megs of RAM. It took literally *thousands* of hours to generate the video which was actuall generated as individual images. I then took the images and turned them into a video. When I finally finished - two years after the idea first came to me - My computer wasn;t fast enough to play the video file. I had to transfer it exported onto video tape. Man, am I obsessive... LOL fg

@zarabow - Thanks!! Chaos? was the first one I made - 15 years ago. The technology was so primitive at the time that it took me 2 years from top to bottom - music included. If you check out "Chaotic Energy(Full)" you can see what was possible once the technology caught up. Thanks for the kudos fg

@ArcanePath360 - OK - what exactly is your point? Is it just that you're maintaining that the Mandelbrot set is not chaotic, or is there something deeper to it than that. I see what you're saying about Pi in terms of it being a static, even if infinite and unrepeating. However I see a lot less value to Pi other than its mathematical usefulness. Specifically, as you say, Pi has no discerning pattern within, but the Mandelbrot Set? has very definite similar unique patterns, Not enuff space here

@fractalgod I also beg to differ. I think the comparison to Pi still stands. Do you know how many itterations Pi has been? calculated to? It's a mind boggling numger, and yet has the same figure at the x itteration, even though no pattern can be found that is repeating. Yes Chaos Theory along with so many other theories is a respected "theoretical" science, but has no relevance here.

(smaller than a breadbox, bigger than the universe). It is infinite in size, with no two identical places. No matter how much of? it you explore, if you round off the ratio of the explored percentage to the whole, it will always round off to 0. GIven these facts, perhaps you can clarify your perspective.

I have seen others who put soundtracks, trance themes and so on - but for what I have seen I am the only person who has gone to such lengths to produce complete works of musical art with fractals. First time I saw Eric Close in anything was Magnificent Seven, and I also saw him in Now and Again (wich I was a huge fan of). He is brilliant with his expressions wich always feels real in any given situation. Great actor, to bad we don't see more of him...

Anyway, this is called? a demo, a program that has all (unless you're ASD, they cheat when they make one) of the necessary components for the audio, visuals, and anything else (physics), written in raw code. When you run said program it renders in realtime. Some are REALLY small, like this one. You can look at 1995 by keWlers, another great demo, and pouet.net, a site dedicated to demos.

One of my personal favorites is "1995" by keWlers and MFX. Not only is that one visually stunning, but it expresses the lament of the demoscene. Nobody respects the programing finesse of the original demos and demosceners. Nobody remembers the true spirit of the demoscene, why is started and continued for? so long.

I have to disagree. The stops? in Pluto are really fun. And the only area's where I see hints are where theres multiple jumps lined up as 16th(maybe somewhere between that and 32) notes. and that's like 2 areas.

I actually like the stops here. They only take a couple runs to get used? to, and then the song is just like all the rest as far as I'm concerned. There are a fair number of hints in the song and steps, so most decent players shouldn't have too much trouble. The stops in Pluto though... they're just retarded. There's no way to guess when there's another one. They're completely random and nothing but an annoying gimmick to throw you off. Anyway, you did a great job FCing. I gave it a 5. AAA it. :)

As a math tutor who spends most of his working time showing folks how to factor polynomials and work with trig, the mathmatics of chaotic systems is a new and attractive? subject. @Pyro25100 He's referring to a? Godzilla monster. I can see similarities in appearance, but I don't see how Perfect Chaos is a rip off. Biollante is a giant plant monster while Chaos is a being of water (or some similar liquid). The similarities really stop at appearance. Their combat strategies are different as are their roars.

There is no talent in making that shit, and i'm tired of seeing it plague REAL music. If it does take any talent, it's not much. You said it yourself, a couple months. I like change, when "follow the leader" came out it was a HUGE change from ST and "life is peachy" but it still had that KoRn vibe. This however abandoned everything that KoRn used to be. @PrincessCiara2671 Im all for change, but this album has absolutely ZERO KoRn elements. They completely abandoned everything that? made KoRn such a great band. There's no groovy riffs, no slappin' bass and certainly no iconic JD vocals. This album has too much electronic garbage and not enough KoRn. KoRn is the softest band i listen to, so when i hear electronic dubstep garbage of course im not gonna like it.

I don't see what peoples problem is with this kind of music. I generally don't listen to dubstep and such, preferring rock, metal and the like, but this, I've not listened to too much? Kirn, but enough to know it's different. And that's all. Different, not better or worse. It's a new sound, and pretty damn innovative in my opinion. If your wanting old Korn, listen to that then, but this is something new and shiny and I think it rocks.
