Is it just me or does it sound like they ripped off a riff from The Cult? I think the song I am thinking of is "Wildflower". It's all good. I used to be a huge? Cult fan. I was never a big Slaughter fan, but I think they are a good band. I applaud Mark and Dana for leaving Vinnie Vincent Invasion then going on to become much more popular. Vinnie is now an antisocial recluse. Big shock. He was recently arrested in Tennessee for domestic abuse and possible animal cruelty.

Slaughter was the shit when i was growing up! I seen there concert at one time, i had my room full of there posters! Blas Elias is soo damn hot haha! Great songs from these? guys! Jesus those high notes in the beginning are insane. Fucking insane. This? man has an insane vocal range!!! Just heard of this band yesterday and Mark Slaughter is already entered my top ten vocalists. And I am a vocalist so I know what to look for in vocals, to assess technicallity and this man is a fucking beast. By the way Dan McCafferty of Nazareth is my favorite vocalist and I have a hunch that he influenced Mark Slaughter, as he influenced both Axl Rose and Tom Kiefer as well as many others.

Marc Slaughter has an awsome voice!! What a range he can go through. Check out Vinni Vincent invasion. He was the lead singer for them before Slaughter along with most of Slaughter the band. @Rowel81 The fact is that halal slaughter is being conducted in the West and this eqipment will be used. Butchering in the street would not be permitted in the streets as it would be illegal. Unfortunately, our spineless politicians permit exceptions to the animal welfare regulations that apply to the rest of us. It's one thing for halal to exist in Muslim states, but not in the West, and I for one? will continue to campaign with others for halal slaughter and products to be banned in Europe.

@mikek241 Please look again. The head is restrained, but until the cut is made the animal feels no pain at all. If in stead of making the cut at that time you would open the box the cow would just walk out again. The use of a? sharp knif and cutting all the way to the vertibrae in the back of the neck ensures the animal goes into shock and loses all senses before the pain is actually registered.

@umbertomaciel As I said before in this thread, I know of at least 10 different methods of Hallal slaughter and for each one I can point you to some high placed Muslims who can and will defend "their" style of Hallal. In our experience recently it is more based on regional influence then scripture. As with all religions the interpretation apperantly has? been different in different regions.

In my opinion I'm not crossing a line as I would do when manufacturing stuff like landmindes.? This is because of answer 2. They have to tell me what is Hallal according to them as I know at least 10 different Hallal slaughtering rites of which a lot are contradictory and in my experience correct "Hallal" is more region based then on scripture. I prefer stunning before slaughter as well, but our company is looking for the best solutions which adhere to both Muslim law as animal welfare and ethics.

Doesn't the use of the restraining box, where the head is forcefully pushed back cause a stress response in the animal already...? It seems that if the spinal cord was the first to go, there would be less controversy surrounding the humaneness of the slaughter method. For those of you that? think the bolt gun is huimane you may want to do more research. it does not always work and must be used by those who are well trained. Not to mention these animals are not raised as livestock they are treated with love and kindness until they cant do what we want and then shipped off. They are calm because they are? depressed. They know their time is up. I've studied horse behaviors to where me and my horses know what each other is thinking. Like when a foal dies in a herd, they feel the loss. They have natural feelings pretty much like us. They are silent out of their saddness. Lethargic ~sob~

Definitely not his best and not my favorite, but still a work of art. It has some very well done scenes with beautiful shots and a perfect soundtrack; however, I feel like it kind of died? after the tavern shootout. It was building up to be this really awesome film--then it died. It's as if? Tarantino had ideas for all these really cool set pieces and didn't know how to finish it all. Which, I can understand 'cause I'm the same way. I just feel like he could have done better. It had potential.

I am not in favor of horse? slaughter. Horses have been our companion animals for centuries, and bred to be that, not bred for food. But there are too many horses, and not enough good homes for them. Better that some should be cleanly slaughtered than watch them die slowly of starvation and neglect. Most are sold willingly by the owner to any willing buyer at auction, which can be a kill buyer. Oh, and the guy asking about why they club them verses shooting them? Watch enough videos? of the "hunt" and you will see that clubbing seems to be easier on the seal. It usually takes more than one shot to kill the seal and the hunters don't want to put bullet holes in them because the decrease the value of the pelt by 2.00 for every bullet hole. If export is also stopped what will happen to the tens of thousands of horse that will be left to deal with each year? The neglect & abuse cases have gone up 1400% (no that's not a typo) since the US slaughter houses were made to close. Mexico slaughter houses are in no way humane, that's exactly why the US should allow them to be reopened. It's not something anyone enjoys but it is a necessary evil at this? time.

closing slaughter houses in the US is like closing orphanages for children. It doesnt stem the flow of? the unwanted. It only takes a humane option away from them. Focus your money on fixing the overbreeders who contribute. I dont agree with slaughter. But we owe it to the horse to provide them with a humane ending to a life they didnt chose. horse slaughter is now legal again in the states. and i think it's a blessing for thousands of horses that have suffered from abuse. horse rescues are getting full, there simply isn'y enough money to care for every abandoned or abused animal. these horses can finally find peace, rather than continue to suffer if not able to find a home...the? same happens to dogs and cats in shelters that cannot find homes. as a rider and a? horse lover, i believe horse slaughter is acceptable.
